Ever felt like trying your hand at architecture and structure designing? Ever wondered how it would feel if you could construct something that could make a difference? Structured one gives you a platform to do that. Structured is going to be the one of the most sought after events of the fest inviting a stampede of cream of the talent around the globe. This event tests ones knowledge, ability to apply common sense, 3-D perception and enterprise in designing and optimization. We will give you the materials. Your objective is to design a resource and time-optimized structure that satisfies the constraints mentioned in the problem. The problem given would a general problem faced by civil engineers of today and a ample amount of head counts of talent is expected for Structured.

 

General Rules:

  • structured will be held in two rounds both of which will be held during INNOVA :10 at DTU

Round 1:

  • There will be a written preliminary round to test the participants knowledge of mechanics and physics required to complete the goal of the problem.

Round 2:

  • Teams will have to construct a model based on certain restrictions and parameters (mechanical or otherwise) given at the time of the competition, within a given time frame.
  • Material will be provided in a kit which will be same for all. Materials depend on problem statement.
  • All intricate rules and regulations will be revealed on the spot. The decision of the judge is final and binding.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The entries are restricted to students currently pursuing education in a recognized institute
  • Students from different colleges can form a single team.
  • The participants may be asked to furnish the supporting documents at a later stage to prove the aforementioned criteria.
  • Each team can contain a maximum of four participants

    • Best Innovative Desgin

          Prizes worth INR 75,000 to be won.

  • Participation certificates would be awarded to all the scholars who have registered.
